The peanut job.
I went for an interview yesterday at Clarke Quay. It went well but there are hidden terms which were not shown in the job descriptions.
These are the terms that the person told me yesterday.
1. starting salary: $5 (compared to the $8 in the internet, it is so far off.)
2. if I do want to quit, give them a notice at least one month before. (fair.)
3. written test after a few months which no one had failed before. (alright, fair. I'm starting to wonder what kind of SIMPLE questions they are going to ask. Question: Do you think singapore river is clean or dirty?) After you passed, you'll get a raise to $5.50.
4. At the sixth month, they'll increase the pay to $6 if they realize that your performance is good.
5. At least 4-5 days if during holiday. 3-4 days minimum of working days if term starts.
6. No changing of last minute schedule if not, $50 would be deducted immediately.
The main thing is... the SALARY! It is SO different from the one at the internet. I have to travel to Clarke Quay specially to earn just $5 and work till i die?! I might as well work at Farm mart for $5.50 and it is only a bus away from home!
Some companies are just cheapskates. They want to have good workers but they do not want to make their salary attractive. They want to provide lousy salaries and yet they want to have good and committed workers. Who they think they are? They think they are presidents such as that everyone want to work for them when they are paying peanuts? I'm not saying presidents are paying peanuts. I mean, if they are the presidents, even IF they are paying peanuts, the people serving them would not mind as they are serving the country and all. But the companies are... i don't know.. looks peanuts and they pay peanuts.
There are no good movies around.
Night at the musuem: I've watched it and i give it four thumbs up (raising my toes)
Curse of the flower (something or another. i forgot): I do not like gong li and.. i don't know. I'm not really fascinated with seeing women with half exposed chest.
Charlotte and the web: I wanted to watch this... until i know... the spider died in the end.
I really hate it when someone dies in the film, especially, a good person dies. Yes, that includes a spider. So, OUT.
Vacation is about to end and hopefully, i'll get a new job soon. I want to earn extra income without asking my dad for it. I'm old enough to buy stuffs for my own without having to extend a hand out to my dad and ask: "Daddy, can i have $10 to buy shirt?"
No.
And i do not know if i'm continuing with the tuition jobs BECAUSE.. I don't know if they still need me. Their results are good enough, seriously. They do not really need any tutoring anyway. Yeah, three cheers for yue qin, jue yi and li qi!
Okay, continue to work hard okay, all of you.

alright. i shall end this entry with my favorite game. hahaha! enjoy!
"And this marks THE END of the entry."
