Days passed by so fast

Book Exhibition

I went to the Book Exhibition with my family on Vesak Day. After going to Bukit Batok Temple to pray, we had lunch and then, we went to Suntec for the Book Exhibition.

we were suppose to only spend 1/2 hour there but then, it ended up that dad and i spent 2 hours thr while bro and mom left.

Wonder how am i able to spend such a long time there?

I spent 1 hour at Times.

Our family got separated so that we were able to look at our own books.

I saw "Mr. Midnight" series over at Times.

I called Xiaohsin to ask my student which series she wanted. She said "36 and 37". So i looked for it but i only saw series 38.

I walked off out of Times to look for other books.

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"have you paid for the book?" The lady asked.

"Eh! I thought i can walk out with the book, sorry!"

Headed back and called dad cos he was carrying my bag along wiht my wallet inside.

No answer.

Called my mom.

She came and gave me the money.

I queued and trust me, it was a bloody long queue.

There was only one cashier and i think the black man was a trainee. And the woman looks kind of bossy (the one training him).

Bought the book eventually after 15 minutes of queue.

Went back to Times and saw book 36 and 37.

Got money from my brother

Went back to queue once again.

The malay lady who stopped me earlier on smiled at me.

For some reason, she didn't ask me if i want to be a member.

I wonder if it is because i look like i'm onley sec 2 with no allowances.

And for some reason, the queue is even longer than before!

Paid and eventually, bro and mom went home.

i went to walk around the exhibition.

Came across my RP friend selling magazine subscriptions.

Came across music store selling music scores.

Went in and spend 1/2 hour there.

I went paranoid cos basically, the stall was playing popular chinese music pieces and all of them sound so nice!

I was busy looking for the title of the music pieces i heard in the stall that I think i spend too much time in the stall.

They played, "Wu ke jiu yao"

I went to find wu ke jiu yao. There were just TOO many music scores books.

They played, "Ying xing chi pang"

I went to look for that book as well.

After that, i gave up and just bought 2 books which cost $17.

I came to the "popular" section and i saw lots of Archies books selling for cheap prices!!

3 for $10 for double digest!

I made up my mind to buy Archies after i buy book from Times.

Only at Times, they sell fiction books.

I was hoping there were Murder books but they don't!

So, i bought an interesting book called the "Persuading Annie"

The author sadly, died last year.

But she wrote three series already. Go buy it!

It's really nice. If you like "shopaholic", u'd love these too!

There are other books that she wrote like, "the waitress".

"Persuading Annie" is about this girl, Annie, who broke off with her ex bf after the bf thought she was tricking him that she was pregnant.

So after 7 years, when they all grew up, Annie was a financial consultant in her family's company. (her family members are seriously snobby except her and her mother which is becos, her mother died when she was young)

So, her family was having such serious problems with money and therefore, they hired consultant.

guess who?! Her Ex bf!!

Go buy it! It's hilarious the way the author put it.

So anyway, ya, i bought the book at Times.

Of course, i have to queue again.

This time, the malay lady frowned and asked, "Huh? you again?"

I replied with a smile, "yeah, forgot something"

someone called my mobile.

I picked it up.

"hello, who is this?"

"Elwin! U forgot my number?"

Oops. The guy at the exhibition.

"Sorry! Cos i lost my hp recently so lots of contacts are missing"

So after that, I went to buy Archies.

Overall, i spent $60.

dad and I then took the MRT to buona vista for delicious Slice fish bee hoon with XO. Go try it! it's delicious!

the greatest dad in the world eating slice fish bee hoon. 5 stars!! Sentosa I went Sentosa with Xiaohsin recently. we did not take any rides or spend any money other than the tram tickets. We just went there for a look.

It changed a lot.

Somehow, the ticketing Ez link card machine just hates Xiaohsin cos it refuses to let him go thru until someone helped him to tap the card.

We alighted at this station.

And the first thing we saw was:

We stayed there for a little while and went inside the herb and spices garden.

After walking 20 steps, we stopped.

"Huh? garden finish already ar? just like that?"

And we only saw one flower. Pathetic!

Lilin is leaving to Australia this month. I'm going to miss you!!

If i can, i'd fly over there to look for you. Then you can bring me to sight-seeing.

Oh yes, i went out with my cousin yesterday and i bought a new camera from Nikon! It was so tempting especially after i lost my camera in Korea.

It is 7.2 MegaPix, with 3.0 optical zoom with large LCD screen and have wireless. Oh my god. and it's only selling for 500 plus dollars and it gave away lots of free gifts as well. For example, 2GB memory card!! so, i've two of the memory card!

So anyway, yesterday's weather was totally... i don't know what to say.

Let's just put it that too much of it, U'd rot.

I ran off to meet Lilin and Cheryl after that.

they were at sakae sushi at wheelock place. Cheryl did a really cute action and we laughed till our stomach hurts.

Den cheryl and I signed the card that i drew in the toilet after that.

You should have heard what cheryl said in sakae sushi. In order for both of us to be able to sign at the card, cheryl asked lilin,

"lilin, it's time for you to go toilet hor?"

Lilin replied, "huh? no. i dun wanna go. I don't need anyone to tell me when is it to go toilet. i can go myself, thanks."

hahaha! Hilarious lah!!

basically, we gave her a pair of earrings and two comic books which she loved.

She gave me a handphone strap accessory. it is SO CUTE LAH!! REALLY!!

I felt like showing it off to everyone.
