Frankly speaking, does any one knows why newspaper have to be made so big?
I mean, it's not like the words are bigger. The pictures are big but with small words. Why can't they make newspapers into magazines?
As in, make it as a book or something. Just as long as it is smaller!
I really hate it when people reads newspaper in the MRT as if it's nobody's business. Especially when you are sitting down, this person standing in front of you bend the newspaper such as that it practically sticks to your nose.
If you wanna read newspaper, fine! FOLD IT! What the hell? You wanna hold the big newspaper to it's full size and take up so much space is it?! And worse of all, i can smell the newspaper. not like the newspaper is fragrant and all. It smells of shit.
Not only that, it's dirty. Dun believe it, try looking at your fingers after rubbing it on the newspaper.
And today, when i was in the mrt, this woman was leaning on the pole. (yes, another detestful thing) This man was standing behind this woman. You know what he did?
He held on to the pole from behind the woman such as that the woman can smell his armpit lah!
I was disgusted by the sight that i looked at his armpit. Actually, it was unintentionally. But i can't help it! The armpit is in front of me cos i'm standing at the other side of the pole.
The man saw me looking and he looked at his own armpit to check if any hairs are missing.
And trust me, when the train passes through the tunnel and the wind blows, you wouldn't wanna face his armpit.
And there's even this office couple hugging in the mrt.
fine. It's none of my business so i didn't look.
But then they started making loud kissing sounds.
What the hell?!
You want everyone to know you are exchanging saliva?
And oh! Not to forget those men sitting down on the floor.
As if taking up space is not bad enough, i was wearing skirt lah!

Now you know why i hate taking the MRT. Especially in the morning!

I think i must have looked terrible cos one of my collegue asked, "Eh, you okay anot?"
So anyway, Reon, another collegue of mine who is sitting behind my cubicle, gave Shuwen (the temp before me) and me a very nice bread from Four leaves.
It's not really bread (if not i would not have eat it). It's.. like sponge bread? I shared it with my godbro cos i was afraid it's not nice. I asked him to try it first.
It's sponge bread with "dou sha" inside.
Godbro said: It's heavenly.
Anyway, yesterday's was the temp's last day. I so envy her! I wished i could go study in uni this year too. and she was saying, "Aiyah, work is better than studies." Oh man!
I don't know if it's cos i'm older than her but it's only a gap of 1 year!
I prefer studying than working. I'm beginning to act and feel like an old adult.
So after work yesterday, i saw Li Jun (another temp) walking out of the door and i exclaimed, "Eh! wait for me!!" We then walked out together. Apparently, she've to wait for her mom to finish work cos they are going to have dinner 2gether. So, we went Vivo to shop.
We talked alot and shop alot. maybe not alot but we were walking quite fast, so, yes, alot.
She said she've not clubbed before.
And she said she would like to go there to explore one of these days.
So i promised that i'd bring her there on a wednesday after work cos it's ladies night.
One good thing is that she've to be home before 11 which goes the same to me cos my dad always waits for me to sleep. (yes, my sweet lovely dad is even sweeter than my bf)
Initially, i thought she was quite unfriendly cos the way she smiled, she seemed unreluctant.
But after yesterday, I realized she is a friendly girl. Maybe a little weird to a certain extend but nice and friendly.
Work is still just as stressful and i even brought the daily operations manual back to read and remember! Yesterday was a busy day because we had to submit the reports.

Wide range = 28 tasks
28 tasks = ranging from keeping track of e no. of packets of milo in the dept to coming up with reports.

I love going Bugis mainly because of the shoes and the temple over there. Not only that, the national library is situated there as well.
But beware, people.
If you see a woman with black and white short hair just opposite the National Library, don't donate to her! wah, that time i saw a business man donate to her, dumb lah.
I was going to walk to 190 bus stop at Chjimes (i know, it sounds far from Bugis but it's only a 15 minutes walk which i accidentally discovered when i was looking for Funan at cityhall's station the other time.) So, i had to pass by bras basah that route and all tt. For 3 times i passed by there, i saw her 3 times. For 3 times, she asked me for money. If she's not smoking, she's scratching her armpit.
She's around the age of 30-40+
There was this once, i was telling my mom about her after she led me to walk one whole big round from bugis to city hall and back to bugis again. No, we weren't strolling, we were lost. all thanks to my mom.
LiLi: Hello, no wonder dad say you do not have sense of direction.
Mom: no lah, eh, where is this place?
LiLi: I told u it's that way and you don't wanna listen to me! Raining leh! I don't wanna stroll with u!
Mom: Ok ok. U lead the way.

As we passed by that path, we didn't see her.

Mom: how i know! The last time you saw her, is she pregant?

Mom: Aiyoh! Scary leh!
Both of us kept stealing glances as she kept adjusting her "stomach". And it is too obvious not to watch because she kept nudging and hugging her stomach as if she's afraid it'd drop.
We crossed the road and saw her crosse the other side.
She kept adjusting and she even pulled her shirt up to adjust.
At last, when we were about to walk into Bugis shopping centre...
Mom: Eh! She take out her "stomach" leh!!
LiLi: where where?! Eh! wall block! -.-"
We then began to shop when we saw her again.
This time, her stomach was flat and she was hugging onto a plastic bag.
Mom: I think she stole something from a shop.
LiLi: Eh! How can it be! If you steal something from a shop, you'd have plastic bag meh!
Mom: No lah, just now she wasn't holding onto a plastic bag.
LiLi: She was lah! I saw her holding onto a plastic bag. you go wear your spectacles.
Mom: Your degrees are worse than mine, still dare to say.
LiLi: what! I can tell that plastic bag she was holding earlier on was guardian's one! I think she just fake that pregnancy to gain sympathy and then stuff the stomach back into a plastic bag cos it keeps dropping, simple.
Mom: No lah, she stole something and put it into a plastic bag.
So, the conclusion remained undetermined.
But moral of the story...
Next time, go buy a professional "pregnancy-stomach" if you wanna fake. If not, you're going to look stupid.
And, remember, don't donate any money to her! She's very easy to spot! Black and white hair and a little hunch back. 30-40 of age and she smokes.

It reminds me of the time when i was about to board the bus, this stupid indian man pushed me using his arm and then board the bus before me. hello! I'm a living thing. Do you not know what's a living thing? Go check your primary 3 textbook! Living things are not for you to push around okay! You like to push someone so much, go push your doll at home! I may be petite but that doesn't mean you can use your filthy hands to push me lah.
He is lucky i was in a good mood the other day. If not, i'd have purposely go step on his foot and then hope it'd be numb for the rest of the day.
It proves how that man shows absolutely no respect to ladies.
I don't know why so many rude people like to appear before me.
This also reminds me of the time when mom and i were in the bus. These bunch of guys sat behind us. My mom was very tired and so, she slept. i was listening to my mp3 and i can even hear their voices even though my mp3 was at its top volume. I tolerated and steal glances at my mom to check if she was disturbed. If she was, i would turn around and asked them to lower down their volume.
Then after 20 minutes of the ride, the boy behind me began to knock his knuckles against the window. Mom opened her eyes and asked, "What's that sound?" Agitated that he woke my mom up, i said loudly, "No lah. some idiot knocking the window." I pointed my finger behind me.
Dun be mistaken. I'm not always like that. But anyone who go across the lines of my family, that's it. I'm a protective person.
So, rude people, better watch out. Especially your feet.

Everyone began singing happy birthday song to me and my memory brings me back to the time when i celebrated my 18th birthday at NTU. It's my happiest birthday ever. I was so touched that i almost cried. More than 50 people celebrated for me. I've got more than 30 presents and ang pao. The best part is when they sang the birthday song. I couldn't forget that moment ever in my life.

The Magic Cigarette Box
XiaoHsin and I were walking at Commonwealth, waiting for the time to go to Interview at Haw Par Tech. So, as we cruised along the HDBs, appreciating it, we met his uncle.
Uncle: Eh, want to smoke anot?
LiLi: *hid behind Xiaohsin* Don't want, thanks.
Xiaohsin: Eh, Uncle, this cigarettes are from china?
Uncle: ya, confirm don't want?
LiLi: *shake head*
Uncle: Bluff you one lah! It's my handphone!
LiLi: -.-""
For your information, it is a WORKING handphone complete with camera and mp3. It's extremely light like an empty box and the music is extremely loud. And yes, the uncle is able to put cigarettes in the handphone. The first picture is where he put his cigarettes. You can flip the cover close and turn the hp over to use it.

For those people who think i can't cook anything except for hard-boiled egg, scrambled egg, smashed egg, smelly egg and noodles, you are WRONG!
And i have evidence.
Sweet soup base with healthy vegetables and carrots. It's one whole big pot. Only Xiaohsin and I were eating it. Yup, we finished it!

Birthday Celebration For The Lau By The Lau Family
We went to suntec for a walk before going to the restaurant which i selected out of the internet. I searched for, "best crab" and turned out, that particular restaurant has many recommendations and compliments/testimonials.
Mom and Bro looked like their were walking for a marathon.
Dad and I took our time.
Dad: Don't know why they wanna work so fast. We are here to shop leh!
LiLi: Bro has mom's fast leg.
(That's why dad is always afraid when mom takes me out on tour cos she would tend to leave me behind and walk first. i really do not understand. What's the point of walking so fast when you can take your time?)
We then came upon...

So, we then proceeded to the restaurant after an hour walk.
