Let me ask a very logical question.
If every company wants to hire someone who are experienced, then who would be the one training the inexperienced?
And if company wants to use agency as one of the channels, they should offer more salary to attract talents, don't you think so?
Let's say you are someone who wants to get a job.
One of the ad, is from the company. The other, is from the agency. Both of which, is from the same company who wants to hire. Which one would you choose?
Would you want to waste your time and money to go all the way to the agency and then, a couple of days later or the next day, make ur way to the company?
I learnt from Human resource management that company chooses to use agency as one of their channels because they would want to save human resource from doing all the recruitment processes (advertising posts, phone calls etc.)
But if i were the the human resource manager, i would rather waste my resources to search for the best talents and to offer the salary higher instead of wasting it on agency. Don't you think so?
This is my point of view and i may be wrong. But this is what i think through experience.
My family had suggested that i apply for overseas studies anytime soon and at the same time, try applying for local universities. Meaning, they want me to try our local uni next year and right now, i should apply for overseas studies so that i've more choices.
Initially, i wanted to enter Kaplan university because it offered "Degrees in Marketing and psychology". It's the only university that offers such unique degrees but at the same time, i have my hesitation and doubts as to how credible the university is.
I mean, yes, Munorch itself is a very recognized university in Australia but that does not mean Kaplan too. And my brother too, has doubts about it. The school fees itself is not expensive and i do not wish my dad to spend so much money on my studies as it's going to take around 7-9 years to get PhD.
yes, you need PhD in order to start your own practice and i feel that the further i can get with my studies, the better it is. perhaps i could work and study at the same time when i'm pursuing my Masters.
That is if i am able to get into a degree course.
everyone couldn't believe that with a GPA of 3.4, i am unable to get into local this year. I do not know whether it is out of sympathy that my brother mentioned that it's the dragon year JC students and therefore, there's alot of people applying this year.
Let's just say it simply, "Unlucky"
Republic Polytechnic is having their opening ceremony soon. I've got the invitation. Every students get the invitation but i am certainly not attending it.
I would like to ask something...
Why do people like to go clubbing?
I went there once, St James and i felt that it is too rowdy for me. It was only 11pm then and it was already getting pretty packed, not to even mention that at 12-1am, people are going to die of suffocation.
Guys like to go clubbing because (after some brainstorming):
1. They like the drinks (but there's pubs, isn't there?)
2. dancing
3. the atmosphere
4. women/ladies/teenagers/kids or even old woman, for God sake, u won't know.
i am in fact, worried about the safety of ladies and to add on, my ladies are so vulnerable and naive that they don't know what they are in for in clubs.
It's so crowded and noisy that you wouldn't even know that someone spike your drinks or molest u (Cos you might think it's just accidental that someone bumped into you or something). And if you are someone who do not how to reject desperate guys, i would suggest you stay at home and on loud music to dance instead.
Maybe partly because i do not know how to appreciate clubbing. I mean, is there a need to? haha! But on traditional thoughts, people would think that clubbings are for punksters and desperados.
I don't know how true is that but ladies are out to have fun, and the guys are out to see ladies have fun. Make sense?
Some guys truly just wants to enjoy themselves. but others just go there for the purpose of "fishing". May i suggest you have more respects for women and to yourself?
But hey, the first time i went there, a lady gave me her drink coupons. there are 5 of them! It was ladies nite so each lady gets 5 coupons. And i had 10! erm, too bad i'm not much of a drinker. In fact, i went there for the sake of seeing how was it like inside. So i gave all the coupons to cheryl and i left with lilin.
Now, dun be mistaken. Ryl ryl is a really nice girl friend of mine (as in girl-friend.) and she went there just to enjoy herself with her friends.
So that's why i think that not all people who go there are bad people. (erm.. i'm beginning to sound like kid who still lives in fairy land.)
I just msged Cheryl cos i'm meeting her this afternoon.
It's 12.30pm now.
I msged her and asked:
"Hey Cheryl! What time are you leaving your house later?"
Cheryl replied after 5 minutes.
"around 1pm, why?"
I replied:
"haha. no lah. just checking if you are awake. HAHA!"
Cheryl:
"ZZZ!"
hahahahaahahaha!
It was mean but at least i know she's awake, isn't it. Okay, gotta go prepare.
