We walked around for nearly 1 hour before reaching our destination. we kept searching for RecruitPlus along that area and eventually, got tired of it, decided to look for police cantonment and start from there.

At last, we found it! While we were walking towards the agency, cheryl patted on my arm, "eh! Look!

LiLi: What the hell? *Burst out into laughters*
Cheryl: which part of it is majestic?
LiLi: No wonder she said same row as Majestic hotel. May wonders never cease.

After going there, we went Mcdonalds. After sitting down... LiLi: So what you wanna eat?
Cheryl: Student meal burger (Erm, i forgot which burger is that)
LiLi: student meal?
Cheryl: *puzzled face* ya.
LiLi: There's student meal in Mcdonalds? How come i don't know
Cheryl: Have ar. But it's not written there lah
LiLi: =_= How smart of them.

I lived in Singapore for 20 years faithfully and i didn't even know Mcdonalds have STUDENT MEALS! I must have been living inside a cave for the past 20 years. As i've said, may wonders never seized.

So we started work on wednesday... When we walked into the the small little room where we'd file and sort, we almost froze instantly the moment we stepped in. I looked up...

two aircons?! =_= It felt like antartica - polar bears - fishes- ice - eskimos = this room

We were suppose to check all the files and it felt like 60 files altogether. and each file is totally... whoa... Check it out...

This thick! But seriously, it wasn't hard. just that the guy who was here checking the files with us was totally vague with his instructions.

I mean, some of his instructions were clear and he even repeated some of it. But he left out a few others which we did not look out for at the end until he said, "Eh, supervisor say don't need to look out for MPBS (a stamp) anymore."

Cheryl: Huh? What is that?
LiLi: We didn't check for it from the beginning anyway.

I can't help but wonder how many more stuffs he did not tell us. But he's kinda distracting. Cos he'd make sound like, "hmm?" and talk to himself now (actually, reading from the papers but still... no one is listening). This work needs alot of concentration cos you have to check for errors and all that, so, if you do not concentrate, you'd miss out an error. And this guy kept hmm hmm hmmm beside me. Not only that.

There was one day when i was extremely hungry and he brought coffee into the room. My stomach growled as i smelled the coffee.

For the past few days, Cheryl did not have enough sleep so you can see both the guy and cheryl's head were both bobbing up and down. Cheryl is much better. The moment she dozed off, she woke up. And the whole reaction was so fast, u'd thought her whole body was jerking at an interval of 15 minutes. The guy would doze off...

and not wake up till 5 minutes later. and the interval time was 10 minutes.

So anyway, we went to have lunch at Novena Square cos it was too crowded at the kopitiam in the hospital. I ate this!


Spicy Kimchi ramen! I was so cold that i have to eat something spicy. But it was awful cos i felt that the noodles were not cooked well enough.

On the second day, i ate...

Laksa minus oysters minus dao poh minus bean sprouts. So... it was just fishballs, noodles and soup. it's nice but not enough! I got so hungry a short while later.

And i saw the scariest thing in my life ever in my laksa.
I dun bear to eat this lah! I think it's shrimps right? See! The eyes still can be seen! Wah, disgusting!

Cheryl offered to share her ban mian but she said that her noodles are a little hard. Just for that, i decided not to share but her soup is nice.
It's tom-yam. haha, cheryl is so hilarious. her dish came and i exclaimed, "Stop stop, cheryl! wait for me to take pictures! wait!" Cheryl was like,"huh? hahaha, orh" Those blur blur and confused kinda look.

On the third day, i decided to go for a change... THIS!

It's weird cos i didn't see any herbal stuffs inside. where are the dates and all that? Oh well, maybe they took it out. Anyway, the meat was pink. I wonder if that's cooked well enough. too late even if it's not! I already ate it and i didn't finish it of course.

So while eating...cheryl and i saw this cute thing...

So cute! They are both looking at the same direction and they looked like lovers! then cheryl began a conversation:

Cheryl: Eh, that time i saw this bird "mei you nao"(no brains)...
LiLi: Huh! So cruel ar!
Cheryl: and then the bird still walks as per normal even though the leg seems a little abnormal
LiLi: huh? walk?
Cheryl: ya, the bird still can walk leh. i think the bird was born like that or something. Poor thing. LiLi: *whispers to myself: How can the bird walk when it've no brains?"
Cheryl: *look at lili*
LiLi: Eh, i ask u a very logical question. How you know the bird has no brains ar?
Cheryl: Huh? what brains? I said "mei you mao"! (No hair/feathers)
LiLi: HuH? So no feathers?
Cheryl: ya! How would i know whether the bird have brains anot, very funny right!
LiLi: Eh! How i know! I thought u going to say you saw the bird lying on the floor. Maybe some reckless bicycle bumped into it and blah blah blah mah! Then when you started to say, "The bird walk" and i was like "erm..... dead bird can walk meh?"
Cheryl: =_= *burst out into laughters*

So that was the miscommunication we had while lunching. So on the third day, cheryl and i took pictures. I wanted to make sure that our name tags are seen and the first photo is totally.. out...

you can see her nametag but can't see mine! My dumb hair covered it!

Cheryl: Eh! U wanna see the name tag and you still cover your hair with it!
LiLi: =_=

Okay, and there's a lot of N.G.s so i just upload the final one.
there you go! Both our name tags and faces are shown. I love cheryl's clothings, always so style. Not like me! Plain Jane.

Oh, and i saw this really cute box of candies so i bought it.
And then i open the lid and tried to shake the candies out for 3 minutes.

And then after that, i just gave up and decided to open the plastic lid and just eat it from there.

and then.. i saw..
What the hell?! Why would anyone packet it in plastic first?!

Cheryl: Two cups of coke to go please!

hahahaha! On the fourth day, we went to Pastamania to eat.

It's quite delicious just that the cream and all the sauce made me bored of eating it after a few spoonful.
mushroom pasta! And this! Cheryl's pasta... i think... that is sausages. Pasta and me! and.. peace!

It's so unfair!!!

Cheryl finished everything!!!

Cheryl: winner Boo hoo!! How can i lose!!!

Cheryl played cheat! Turned around and threw all the pasta on the floor while i was not looking right!!

After that, i went off to xiaohsin's house to eat... Delicious durian!

Yeahhh!! It's SO MUCH nicer than the ones in packets!

Xiaohsin is having fun opening the durian. While LiLi is having fun eating! bwahahhaha! We had pepper lunch again a few weeks ago. This is the delicious sauce that i was talking about. And that is why, i've always loved to come pepper lunch cos of the sauce and the rice! THE END
