At last! My long await weekend has finally arrived!
It was a pretty hectic week.
I had OT last night to rush over reports. Most of them already left. I was referring to the sample and rushing it out. Now, i'm a little paranoid that i missed out something! haha! yes, that's lili for you. so i'm going back early on monday just to check again.
Anyway, two days ago, i came back and was warming up dinner for both dad and me.
LiLi: *at the stove*
Bro: Eh, how come papa haven't come back
LiLi: *looked at the time* Still so early.
Bro: huh? 9.05 already leh!
LiLi: He'll be back before 9.30 de lah.
Bro: Eh, u don't think nothing will happen hor. You didn't watch LOST meh?
LiLi: *frowned and faced him for the first time* Erm? huh? Lost? what's tt gotta do with 'Lost'?
Bro: The one with the car parked downstairs but he return home lah! *Walked out of the kitchen*
LiLi: *scratch head* Since when 'Lost' have car? *took dinner to dining room*
*Bro was watching tv*
LiLi: erm... do you mean 'Missing' just now?
Bro: Huh? it's call missing meh? not lost?
LiLi: You want dad to get stuck in an island?
Bro: -.-" *pretend to concentrate on tv*
LiLi: *Burst into laughters*
dad came back.
Dad: Eh, you haven't eat ah.
LiLi: waiting for you lah.
Bro: How come you are so late?
Dad: Work lah!
LiLi: Bro is a little paranoid that u'd get stuck in an island.
My darling bro can be such a joker at times.
My collegues are starting to think i'm deaf. But it's ok. My sensitive nose will make up for that.
There's a new beijing collegue, named Michelle.
I was so busy in office that sometimes, i'd be a little blur.
Shirley (Manager): Michelle, LiLi is older than you. So you can ask her if you are unsure.
LiLi: huh? Old?
Shirley: ya lah. *turned to michelle* But only 4 days lah.
LiLi: 4 days?
Shirley: Eh! I'm talking about the days you are worked here lah! Not your age!
LiLi: -.-"
Shirley: hahaha! Don't be so shocked!
Michelle kept calling me xiao mei mei cos she say i look and act like one.
Ellen (Another collegue) says that I look like Sailormoon! She says that i'm very hyper active and mischievious kind.
Oh anyway, from our office, you can see the sunset! REALLY! it's GORGEOUS!!!
Both Ellen and I were fascinated by it.
I went to meet Cheryl two days ago and we had dinner together.
Just the thought of it makes me get a little embarrassed.
It was the second time i went to that restaurant and i saw the same waiter who served me before.
There's this part of the restaurant that the tables are very closed to each other but there's still a gap.
I did a very stupid thing.
I walked through the gap and sang, "ding ding ding ding ding" (like RP days. I used to opened the door a little in order for only me to squeeze through so that the rest of them have to open their own door. So when i went in, i'd do that sound effect and tiptoed. There was once, i went in the wrong classroom.)
The next thing you know..
My foot knocked against the chair.
Everyone looked at me.
Waitress: Erm, are you okay? *smiling*
LiLi: hehe, yes i'm fine. thanks!
I laughed out loud like some idiot and sat down. That's lili, always making a scene. And no, it's not a good scene.
Cheryl was laughing at me too. grrr...
So, i caught a glimpse of the waiter who kept secretly laughing at me.
When Cheryl and i were both talking and eating at the same time, the waiter came over and asked, "Can i clear the soup?"
Cheryl: Huh?
Waiter: can i clear the soup? *about to take away my bowl*
LiLi: Eh! I still want to eat!!
Waiter: oh ok ok! *put back*
LiLi *grinned*
when the waiter left, i laughed.
Okay, i was a little over reacting when i said that. Cheryl was imitating me. But i really still want to drink what!
I haven't even finish!
And the period that cheryl and i were eating there, out of the corner of my eyes, i saw the waiter secretly laughing at me.
Okay, people, let me tell you my schedule for weekdays!
Schedule
7.15: Left house
7.30: Took the train (pasir ris train- the one that i don't have to change at jurong east)
8.00: reached harbour front
8.05: Board train
8.20: reach office
8.30: start work
12.30: lunch break
1.30: start work
5.30: finish work
5.45: reached harbour front shopping centre
5.50: went harbour front shopping centre to buy curry puff! The shop next to "new york" and near where people buy tickets to go batam etc.
6.00: went to enjoy the scenery while munching away my delicious curry puff. (The "Scenery" is the sea. There's a few doors that lead outside at Vivo where you can see Sentosa from there. I was at the railings. The sight of the sea and sentosa just helps to relieves stress. Everytime i was passed Sushi tei (at the railings), the ppl gave me a weird look like i'm a giraffe for them to appreciate while they have their dinner)
6.30: went interchange and board bus 188
tadah! My everyday schedule.
My office is at Keppel bay tower. The one next to harbour front shopping centre. It's gorgeous! And frankly speaking, one of my motivation. (the other is curry puff and shopping)
haha! I just thought of a very funny conversation we had during lunch.
Ellen: It's better to drink before you have your food.
LiLi: Huh? Why leh?
Ellen: Absorb better mah. (and she said some scientific stuffs which i can't remember)
Wanxinn: No lah!! eh! The food go here (Point to the brain) for you to work later!
Ellen: Eh! Sorry hor! The food goes to stomach, don't go to the brain.
LiLi: WAHAHAHAHAH!
*Everyone looked at me*
Ellen: Eh, you okay anot?
LiLi: HAHAHAHAHAHA
Ellen: So ticklish leh this girl.
Wanxinn: It's good mah. So she's happy everyday.
LiLi: *sniffs and grinned*
I can't believe wanxinn actually said the food goes to the brain. oh God. hahahaha
Anyone who wants to go shopping and dine with my after work, do feel free to come vivo city to find me!! i'm free everyday after work except friday.
